Sweet

Hi Everyone!

Sweet a taste of honey,
Sweet a taste of sugar,
Sweet a taste of fresh milk,
Sweet a taste of freshly made chocolate chip cookies,
Sweet a taste of oatmeal raisin cookies,

Sweet Sound of music Bob Sweet’s guitar playing,
Sweet smell of money, fame, notoriety,
Sweet means many, many, many different things in the world.

My sweet is plain and simple. Cookies, ice cream, cake, pie, etc, etc, etc.
BUT I am very particular in my choices.
I’m a picky, picky, “sweet” eater.

Have a great sweet day! Hope

Quibble

Hi Everyone!

Mable: You are quite a quibbler Hope!

Hope: I am not a quibbler!!
Now let me have my tea in peace!!!

Mable: Really Hope! You must have a very, very, very bitter tea bag in your cup!! Why don’t you add some sugar that will not only sweeten your tea but YOU along with it!

Dot: Girls! Girls! Both of you are driving me bonkers with all your quibble. Come on now, can’t we just enjoy this beautiful morning? Look I see a speck of sun coming through those clouds.

Have a great day! Hope

Hello Abby’s Ingredients

Hi Everyone!ย

I thought you might be interested in Abby’s recipe for the Hallow Eve ingredients. Hope you enjoy it!

ย = 8 – cups of sugar,

ย = 2 – sticks of butter,

ย = 2 – 12 oz cans of evaporated milk,

Add ingredients to non-stick cauldron, if yours is not non-stick make sure you coat your cauldron so ingredients do not stick or burn.ย

Remember to stir, stir, stir so ingredients do not burn or stick.

Cook them to soft ball stage 235 to 245 Fahrenheit degrees or your ingredients are really, really, boiling. Turn off.ย

I usually don’t go higher then 235 degrees with my stove. If your mixture is bubbling, bubbling and shooting out bits of liquid, which is extremely hot, hot, hot – it’s time to turn off. Always be cautious when making any type candy!!!!

Now add ย = 1 – 18 oz jar of crunchy peanut butter – stir,

ย = 2 – jars of marshmallow Fluff or creme – stir,

ย ย = 2 – 12 oz bags of semi-sweet morsels – stir, stir quickly.

You have to stir quickly for blending of chocolate.

Scoop your mixture into the 2 to 3 coated pans depending on how thick you want to make your “FUDGE”. Yes it’s “FUDGE”!

If you say I left out the vanilla I did. Over the years I usually forgot to add it and no one noticed.ย

Have a great day! Hope
