Kira’s Sunday Scribbles – Week 26

Hi Everyone!

How sad to see our lady with tears.

Why do you think she is crying?

Tear for Freedom lost,
Tear for the ones that gave their lives so we as a nation could keep our Freedom,
Tear for the way people are treated today because of the way they look, Tear for words of rage, hate, hostility, odium, repugnance, aversion, the words that are used can never be taken back no matter who you said them too,
Tear for senseless, corruptible, perversion, acts from one person to another,
Tear for the sight our nation has lost about life,
Tear for the lost of caring,

In case you forgot – below is a reminder of what is written on our beloved Statue of Liberty.

Here’s  another reminder from “Ghostbusters Two (2)” movie. It shows people singing together on New Year’s Eve to break the “slime” away.

You know we can do this without the “slime!”

Have a great day! Hope

Hi everyone!

What a word! Hmmm! Really have to think about this one. It sounds kind of gross, don’t you think?

You also maybe asking is “ooze” and “slime” the same? The answer is not really. Here is what Wikidiff.com says:

“As nouns the difference between ooze and slime
is that ooze is potion of vegetable matter used for leather tanning or ooze can be soft mud, slime, or shells on the bottom of a body of water while slime is soft, moist earth or clay, having an adhesive quality; viscous mud; any substance of a dirty nature, that is moist, soft, and adhesive; bitumen; mud containing metallic ore, obtained in the preparatory dressing.
As verbs the difference between ooze and slime
is that ooze is to be secreted or slowly leak while slime is to coat with slime.”

WOW! I learned Something new today. How about you?
