Kira’s Sunday Scribbles – Week 26

Hi Everyone!

How sad to see our lady with tears.

Why do you think she is crying?

Tear for Freedom lost,
Tear for the ones that gave their lives so we as a nation could keep our Freedom,
Tear for the way people are treated today because of the way they look, Tear for words of rage, hate, hostility, odium, repugnance, aversion, the words that are used can never be taken back no matter who you said them too,
Tear for senseless, corruptible, perversion, acts from one person to another,
Tear for the sight our nation has lost about life,
Tear for the lost of caring,

In case you forgot – below is a reminder of what is written on our beloved Statue of Liberty.

Here’s  another reminder from “Ghostbusters Two (2)” movie. It shows people singing together on New Year’s Eve to break the “slime” away.

You know we can do this without the “slime!”

Have a great day! Hope

Someone greeting words “Hi! How you doing today?” or “Hi! Nice to see you!”

Little things make a difference,
Little things can bring back memories of both happy and sad.
Little things in love,
Little things you learn through life,

So what little things have you learned lately? Better yet in the last ten (10) years?
Have you turned someone’s frown right side up into a smile?

Have a great day! retrowomanHope

Daily Prompt: Dim

See the source imageDim

Hi Everyone!

The light bulb is dimming, better get a new one.
See the source imageThe lite candle is slowly dimming, it’s close to the bottom of the wick.
The sun is setting, dimming the sky,
Soon the moon will be up, bringing a moonlit night. See the source image
Each day we dim a little ourselves.
Then a surprise comes our way and the dimming subsides.
Remember everyday you receive a surprise. Oh Yes You Do!
It’s not a huge thing like your birthday or Christmas gifts.
You look out your window and you see life starting for the day.
Flower bud opening up,
birds chirping,
neighbor picking up their newspaper that is 20 feet away from their door. I know you have a grin on your face, because your neighbor complains everyday.
I hope after reading this, your dimness has left for the day.

Have a great day! Hope
