Do you get the feeling you are being stymied no matter which way you turn? The CV-19 information stymies me everyday!
Stymied by 6 feet apart? Here I go 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and finally 6. Stymied by no eating in restaurants? Stymied by having to wear a mask no matter where you are? Stymied by stores letting people in without a mask? Stymied by people that ignore the direction of the aisle arrows. Can you imagine if a store still used mirrors and over the loud spreaker : Attention person turning downaisle 5 you’re going down in the wrong direction.
Stymied by all the red tape to get a clear answer?
Monday have to wear mask no matter what,
Tuesday if you don’t have a mask wear a scarf, bandana, some type of covering,
Wednesday masks are now available,
Thursday masks are gone again,
Friday search websites for masks, make your own masks, etc,
Saturday locking myself in the house, in a closet so no one not even my cat can breath on me.
Sunday got out of the closet. Told myself are you that bonkers, just wear the mask, scarf, bandana, anything that will fit around my head.
I have learned to go along with the flow with what is happening. I don’t listen to all the stations to find out if there is something different about what is going on. I do listen for updates and then sign off. I keep myself posted, check with friends and relatives on how they are doing. Thinking positive I will be able to go into my favorite restaurant soon!
To me the flower above is unusual. To others who live in the area where it grows may find it beautiful and know it’s unusual qualities no one else knows.
Tom Jones 1965 song It’s Not Unusual. “It’s not unusual to be loved by anyone It’s not unusual to have fun with anyone But when I see you hanging about with anyone It’s not unusual to see me cry, I wanna die…” Read more at Google.com, listen to song on Youtube.com or iHeart.com
My writing may be unusual to some. And I have to totally agree with them, of course I say “bonkers”. I’m sure some people would scratch their heads, have a look on their face wondering why would I write that way. Everyone has their own technique. Hopefully my technique will put a smile on faces, give a laugh or two, or a tear.
Below are purple fruit and vegetables. This is very unusual to me. I hope they look the same in person as they do in the photos below. I like the color purple, but to eat purple it’s really, really unusual to me.
Abby: Are you ready to cosmeticize your room? Hope: Yes, Abby: This is going to be your office correct? Hope: Yes, Abby: Let’s cosmeticize!!!!
Here comes your chair, Next is your desk with computer setup, Next is your lighting, Next is your filing systems, Next is your paintings, they are bonkers like you, Next is your computer and accessories, Next is your artificial flowers as requested,
Hope: A few more items were moved in and finally it looked like a special room for me. Abby you did a great job! You followed my requests to the “T”. Abby: Hope, I am so happy you love the cosmeticize I did. You are the hardest client I have ever had.
Do you get befuddled when a person starts talking, keeps on, keeps on, on, on, etc. Now this can happen by email, phone, in-person, shopping at the same store, etc, etc, etc. You can’t even get your opinion in. Then all of a sudden they say to you “what’s your problem today, you don’t want to talk to me?” Me I just slowly drink a glass of water! Think about walking down a quiet beach, all you hear is the water moving around. And then I say to them “can you repeat that?”
Or how about when reading one of my blogs, you get a befuddled look and scratch your head, what the heck is Hope blogging about????
Makeup products may use organic, natural, Vegan, Foods may use organic, natural, Flavors may use both natural and organic, Household products use “eco-friendly”, natural, green.
Me I use “bonkers” to describe myself. Bonkers is a nice way of saying your crazy, mad. I might say I’m “bonkers” for the new Hellboy 2019 movie. The first time I heard “bonkers” was in Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp and Mia Wasikowska.
Our pet is a domestic short hair cat, orange, peach colors.
His name is Milo, He reminds me of Garfield, The way he walks across my keyboard or in front of my monitor, The way he eats, The foods he wants to eat, The foods he puts his nose up at, Sometimes he acts like a dog the way he sniffs everything, Picks up stuff from the floor, have to watch him every minute, He has an air about him when he walks into a room, “I’m here, you better pay attention to me!” He is very “mellow dramatic”
He’s also our pal, buddy, listener, cuddlier, knows when you are feeling blue, senses what you sense, great companion, makes you laugh, drives you bonkers with his running, jumping, you never know where he is going to land.
And most of all he is a talker, he doesn’t hold back on anything. When you enter the door or a room he is in, you better talk to him right away, otherwise he keeps on talking until you answer him. He will follow my son until he answers.
National Ding-a-Ling Day is observed across the United States each year on December 12.
Ding-a-Lings on this day call the people they haven’t heard from in a while. It may be an old classmate, co-worker or neighbor from years ago. Or perhaps a call will go out to the child who used to mow the grass during the summer. How about that couple who carpooled for soccer. What was their name? There are all sorts of people in our lives who manage to slip out of our lives who would love to hear the ding-a-ling of a call from you or me. Why don’t you join the Ding-a-ling club and call someone this year?
HOW TO OBSERVE
Call someone you haven’t heard from in a long time and use #NationalDingALingDay to post on social media.
What do you like the best light (daylight) or dark (nightlight) skies? For me it’s a tough question. Light gives me energy, Light gives me strength, Light gives me hope for a new day, Light gives me comprehension for the day, Light gives me a warm feeling when when the flowers start to bloom,
Dark gives me an unfathomable feeling, Dark gives me shivers, Dark gives me an extra sense of what is going on, Dark gives me courage to be a beacon of light, Dark gives me a smile when watching fireworks in the night sky. Dark gives me rest from an bonkers day of doing things.
