The Bridge

Hello Everyone!

How many bridges have you crossed?
There are many types of bridges, but don’t forget the bridges of life.

Do you remember the song by Simon & Garfunkel?

Bridge Over Troubled Water
When you’re weary, feeling small
When tears are in your eyes
I will dry them all
I’m on your side
Oh when times get rough
And friends just can’t be found

Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down

Some days I feel I’m walking to the “bridge over troubled water”.
Memories come alive!
Some tears are sad when I start walking towards the bridge of life, and by the time my walk ends my tears of sad are now tears with a smile.
Why you ask?
The bridge brought back memories of when my soul mate and me were walking over the bridge holding hands.

Have a great day! Hope

  1. I think we’ve all been there, Hope. Not only crosses the bridges but turned around too.
Thank you for linking to the challenge. I think the next one, chosen by my partner and published today might be to your liking.πŸ™‚
