Hi Everyone!
- October is here.
- Time of year for fall weather.
- Look forward to Halloween.
- Plus Indian Summer.
Let’s not forget the the “tricks” remember no eggs, soap, rotten fruit thrown around. What type of “tricks” = games you can play?
I always looked forward to the great stuff in my era.
- candy
- fruit
- gum
chips
- soda
- thick slice of bologna from the butcher on the way home.
Wow! That was an eon or so ago.
October is apple picking time. I love caramel covered apples with nuts. Delicious! Some like actual cinnamon candy on the apple. With the hard candy
I might break a tooth. At least with the caramel you can stick your tooth back in with it.
OM Gosh! That was a terrible thought.

I used to just eat bologna without bread. 😊

My mom used to get a thick slice from the butcher, cook it with diced onions and potatoes. WOW! What a meal.
