Congregate

Hi Everyone!

Congregate – what a word.
I’m going to give it a try.

Hope: Hi Dot! Did you see the seniors from Golden Acres congregate with the seniors from Rough Riders?
Dot: No I didn’t. When did it happen?
Hope: Sunday 2/25/18 at 2 PM. It was an amazing sight.
Dot: Did anything exciting happen?
Hope: Exciting isn’t the word. They came together to shake hands and all of a sudden you seen motion like I never saw seniors do before. Clapping their hands, do the Jitterbug, do-si-so around, changing partners. Then Finally the police officers, fire department personnel, ambulance personnel arrived. Red, blue, green, yellow, purple lights flashing all over the place.
Dot: So what caused this to happen?
Hope: Did you ever hear of the McCoys vs. Hatfields from years, years, years ago?
Dot: Yes! I thought they were all gone.
Hope: I thought so too.
BUT Molly from the McCoy’s is now engaged to Maury from the Hatfield’s and some of their family was visiting and Baboom celebrating this soon to be marriage, like they never celebrated one before!

PS: They are both turning 99 years old at the end of March.
