You are invited to your mom’s, in-laws, aunt, friends house for the holidays.Just by driving up to their residence you can tell the love they have for this Thanksgiving Day. Your host welcomes you with open arms.
When you walk in you smell the aromas of turkey, ham, stuffing, pies, hot spice tea, mashed potatoes, scalloped potatoes, lasagna, ravioli, spaghetti, meatballs, bread. I could go on and on. Everyone has different meals for their ethic background.
The love your host has for all her/his dishes they proudly serve.
I have great compassion for all those that cook, serve and especially the clean-up that has to be done.
You always think what can I do for our host? I know they are perfect in everything they do. Even sweeping the floor.
If you are perfect at sweeping floors, step in, tell your host to move it and start sweeping.
You are great at doing the dishes, well step in, tell your host to move it and start doing the dishes.
You love to wash your glasses just like you host does and they know it. So guess what you do? You step in, tell your host to move it and start washing the glasses.
Most of all the group of invitees could stand up and say. BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO!
Thank you so much for the food, table set up, serving style, great conversations! You show your compassion for all of us here and the others that could not make.
Have a great day! Hope
